Yes, we are expert cleaners!  Among all of us, we have over 100 years of experience getting the mold out of the bathtub’s edge, vacuuming the heirloom rug to look like new, and clearing away those dust bunnies. We know you will smile and wonder how did we get your space to look so clean.  

We are mothers, aunts, sisters, daughters, and grandmothers who know about work-life balance. We know that a helping hand in getting the house straightened up, laundry washed and folded and dishes washed can mean having that extra time to play with the kids or taking that long hot bath to erase the worries of the work world.

We want to simplify your life by cleaning your home, attending to the children during the morning routine to get them to school, or coming over with short notice because your in-laws are arriving…when? Tomorrow? Don’t worry; we are discrete and your secret is safe with us. We even want to help get the apartment back to its original spic-and-span shape, so you can get your deposit back.  

Most of us are certified in OSHA’s General Industry Safety and Health 29 CFR1910. We are all vaccinated against COVID-19. Not only do we know about occupational safety and health standards, but we are also knowledgeable about COVID-19 best practices. We are serious about safety during our time in your home: yours, your family’s, and ours, too! 

We are proud of our origins. We got together to form the worker-run and managed cleaning cooperative because the Jackson Heights’ “neighbor-helping-neighbor” grassroots group COVID Care Neighbor Network and the community resource center Together We Can identified our need to get back to work. Through the group’s initiative and means, all of us have become empowered to advocate for ourselves in seeking the jobs we need to once again become the financial resource we are to our families, as we were prior to the pandemic.
